Offline authorizations work for contactless transactions that are below the offline floor limit, which is card dependent (currently £0 for Visa, £0 for MasterCard and Maestro). Contact transactions in the UK can be authorized offline depending on your acquirer/processor.

Deferred Authorizations are supported with our ChipDNA Mobile solution in Europe with the latest release of 1.19.3 and Windows/Linux solution in 2.02.
Offline transactions are processed as Deferred Authorizations (also known as Store and Forward). This occurs when an online authorization could not be performed due to connectivity issues, at which point ChipDNA will prompt the merchant to accept a deferred authorization at the merchant's own risk. Deferred Authorizations will then need to be confirmed within 24 hours. Any Deferred Authorizations that do not reach our platform within this 24 hour period will be discarded when using our ChipDNA Windows, Linux or Mobile solutions. This is a card scheme requirement.
